Medical Benefits
To meet the diverse needs of Hoshino’s employees and their families, we offer two different medical plans.

* This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
Preventative Care
All plans cover preventive care 100% in-network, including routine screenings and checkups. Many of these services are covered as part of routine physical exams. These include regular checkups, routine gynecological visits and well-child exams. You won’t have to pay anything for these services if you get them from an in-network doctor. That means no copayment and no coinsurance. Hoshino also offers its employees the option to enroll in vision and dental plans.

401(k)
Hoshino offers a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan to help employees save for retirement. The Plan allows employees to contribute a certain percentage of their wages to a tax sheltered retirement account. Employees are eligible to participate for purposes of salary deferrals on the next 401(k) scheduled entry date after completing three consecutive months of employment. Participants may choose to invest their contributions from among several professionally managed investment funds. To encourage participation, Hoshino may make a matching contribution on a portion of your designated contribution.
Paid Time Off
Vacation time off without loss of pay is available to eligible employees to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits. Regular full-time employees are eligible to receive and use vacation time pursuant to company policy.
Hoshino also provides regular full-time employees an allotment of paid sick/personal days to be used when absence is unavoidable, due to reasons of illness, bad weather, personal emergency, religious holiday, or other significant obligations which cannot be handled outside of the normal workday.
The Company normally observes 9 holidays each year. If you are a full time employee, you will be paid for the holiday at your normal daily rate. The days we normally observe include:
-
